Words intern

Would you like the chance to build your portfolio in one of London's top creative agencies, honing your wordsmithing skills for household names such as Havana Club and Jameson Whiskey?

We are looking for bright, driven and articulate individuals to join our words team for a paid internship, developing razor-sharp brand writing to help bring our award-winning design work to life. 

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Words within the Strategy Team, working closely with her to not only learn about how we communicate through Words at Pearlfisher but also supporting her and the wider team on a broad range of writing and creative briefs. Projects include but are not limited to naming, tone of voice, communications strategy, verbal and language audits, brand storytelling and ideas, back of pack copy, content development, and words for design as well as other brand experiences.

You will also:

  • Gain exposure to all facets of a global design agency, including liaison with and some input into Strategy, Futures and Design.
  • Support the Head of Words in presentations, communications audits and name checks; conduct and compile research to support Words, Strategy, Futures and Design as required; work with internal teams to ensure that all information and required materials are provided in a timely manner and in the correct formats.
  • Work on a wide variety of projects which will give you exposure to different types of clients and their set-ups.

Ideally, you will have gained some prior experience within a branding and design environment; but if you are a graduate or final-year student with a relevant degree and examples of writing for brands or via social media, please do apply.
